Day 59 continued

Today I will do shoulder + arms instead of yoga now that my stubbed finger is better.

Also, i know why day 56 was 2/3rd done (staring phase 3). Its cause i assumed 2/3rds done would be 60 days (60 out of 90) but thats not the case. 90 apparently doesn't stand for 90 days. 4 week rotation = 28 days. So 28/56/84 days is the schedule.

Day 59

Because I stubbed my finger yesterday playing bball, I dont think I can do shoulder and arms today. I'm going to forgo it and try to do it in place of yoga.

Day 58

I feel like the days are off... Since if i'm 2/3rds done shouldn't I be on day 60?

Anyway, Instead of pylometrics I played some basketball for a few hours. I think I played decently well for smoeone who is not very good at bball.

Day 57

Today is officially the first day of Phase 3. I can't believe i'm about 2/3rds of the way done. I'll be going back to chest/back this week. I wonder how many pushups I can do this time around.

Day 55/56

This weekend instead of yoga, I played basketball for about 3 hours. I won't have too many more days to play basketball outside, so I should live it up now while I can. Also, I do notice that i'm improving in my endurance and shootability. I am starting to gain confidence in my shot.

I did the core synergistics routine. It was again very tiring stuff. I skipped over a few things since I knew I had plans this friday, but overall it was a good workout.

I went ahead and did kenpo x today. I sweated a whole lot! I'm starting to wonder if phase 3 will show any major improvements.

Day 51

Today I am sore from basketball. But thats great. I'm in my rest week so its good that I'm able to push myself with a sport like basketball. Today I will do core synergistics, and really get myself sore.

39 more days! I am almost to phase 3!!!!

Day 50

Today, was supposed to be yoga. Instead I decided to play basketball at my local bball court. It was good, I ran a lot and sweated so much I went down to 152.4 lbs. I lost about 5 lbs of sweat. Good grief.

Day 46/47/48/49

I screwed up my schedule somehow, so I did legs/back on saturday and played basketball in lieu of yoga on sunday. But that also means my weekend days became thursday and friday. I feel pretty good about myself, and despite basketball not being anything like yoga, i feel sunday was a good workout.

Day 45

Officially 1/2 way done with p90x. I am so close to done. After this week will be a rest week, which is not really any sort of rest at all.

I did my back and biceps, and I have to say, these guns are definitely looking bigger =) I wouldn't say I can do heavier weights, but its getting easier to handle 20 lbs and doing more reps of them. Regardless, I am excited to see more results as I conclude the second half of p90x.

Day 43

I did my chest, shoulder and triceps. I felt good after the workout. Sore, but not in pain like i usually do. I'm posting this tuesday for yesterdays workout, and I'll tell you I must be getting used to this exercise because the last two times I've done this I've been in pain for the entire week. Anyway, I can't wait til I'm officially 1/2 way done with this workout!

Day 39

I did my back and biceps, or as tony calls them, "glamour muscles". Well anyway, I did a bijillian curls. However recently a coworker informs me that my puny 20 lbs and 25 lbs are nothing! He said he can do about 55 lbs hammer curls. Wow.

Anyway, I still feel good about this program.

Today I will be doing back and biceps. I'm psyched, as I will be pumping up my arms more. However, my triceps and shoulders are still slightly sore, so I hope this won't be a problem. I'll let you know tomorow!

Day 37

Pylometrics outside! Due to life events, I had to stop and do this outside in a local park area. As weird as it was to have people staring at me while I'm jumping around, I felt great! Also, when I got back in, i weighed in at 154.. The next morning i weighed around 155. So really, I guess p90x really does work!

Day 36

Chest, shoulder, and triceps. Last week, I purposely lifted weights I knew i could handle. Off the top of my head I think I either posted very little information or said that it was slightly easy. So today, I decided to kick it up a notch. I went a little bit more all out, and I can tell the difference in my triceps. Its definately the area I need most work on. Last week I did most of my exercises at 10 lbs. Today I did it at 12.5. It was hard. I think next week or the week after I'll be ready for 15 lbs. But for now, 12.5 is a real challenge.

Day 36 already! Yikes, I'm almost 1/2 way done!

Day 34/35

I didn't do kenpo on saturday. But I did do kenpo on sunday! Felt good, although I did it in my room without shoes. next time I will be wearing sneakers as pivoting on the balls of your feet makes a pretty painful blister.

Day 33

Today was leg and back. Man, doing pull ups when your biceps are still sore are not cool. I had to go early this morning due to my new commute with my company. Anyway, tough stuff. I'll be happy to do kenpo tomorow.
